HR AI READY

Legally compliant AI in HR

Use AI in HR with legal certainty — three frames every HR-AI must satisfy at once: the GDPR (applicant and employee data), the EU AI Act (HR is high-risk) and works-council co-determination (§87 BetrVG). From prohibited emotion recognition through Art. 22 GDPR to the AI works agreement — date-stamped, audited against primary sources.

Häufige Fragen zu HR AI READY

Doesn't the EU AI Act only apply to HR from 2026 or 2027?
No. Two of your three frames already apply today: GDPR and co-determination anyway, and from the EU AI Act the prohibited practices and the AI-literacy duty have been in force since 2 February 2025. Only the major high-risk obligations are being postponed — and that is a preparation window, not an emergency exit.
Does the course replace legal advice?
No. The course provides well-founded orientation knowledge at the current state. Binding statements for your specific case require qualified advice. The credential confirms your participation — not the legal compliance of your AI systems.
Do I really need the works council for HR-AI?
For many systems, yes. §87 BetrVG gives the works council a genuine co-determination right — not a mere consultation right — when introducing technology that can monitor behaviour or performance. Without involvement, a rollout can be stopped on legal grounds.
